A FOURTH car has been deliberately set a light in Drumchapel this week.
The latest blaze occurred on Thursday on Southdeen Avenue - the second time in days the street has seen a car targeted.
Yesterday, the Clydebank Post reported on a spate of wilful car fires in the area, with police confirming they were investigating three car infernos in Southdeen Avenue, Carolside Drive and Merryton Avenue since Sunday.
Now, a Police Scotland spokesperson revealed they are not treating the four fires as linked.
A Police Spokesperson said: "We have received a further report of a vehicle fire on Southdeen Avenue on Thursday, October 26, 2023.
"Officers are treating the fire as wilful and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
Before adding: "These incidents are not currently being linked, however enquiries are ongoing and we cannot rule anything out at this stage."
