POLICE have issued an update on their investigation into a fire at a derelict community centre in Drumchapel.
We previously reported that officers were treating the blaze which took place at the former Stonedyke Neighbourhood Centre on September 2 as "unexplained".
Cops have now confirmed that the investigation is closed.
The Clydebank Post asked if there were any suspicious circumstances surrounding the fire or if it was being treated as an accident however police did not comment further.
Following the blaze, City Property Glasgow (CPG), who own the building, said it will be demolished. Work was due to begin last week.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a fire at a building on Belsyde Avenue in Glasgow around 5.30pm on Saturday, September 2.
“Officers attended to assist the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. Enquiries have been completed.
"Anyone with any further information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 2972 of September 2, 2023.”
