A FIRE station in Clydebank was visited by a famous face at the weekend.

Comedian Kevin Bridges visited crews and residents at Clydebank Community Fire Station on Saturday (August 19).

We previously told firefighters were hosting their first open day at the station on Kilbowie Road for the community.

The free event was a fun-filled day for local families in the area as there was a bouncy castle, beat the goalie, face painting - and even a dunk tank!

Local resident Martin Mcgechie managed to get a photo with the legendary funnyman.

He told the Post: "He was a lovely guy. I told him that he was my favourite comedian.

"[The event] was crowded. The rain didn't stop anyone from coming, but I had a great time."
