POLICE are appealing for information after a teenager was attacked by a dog outside Asda Clydebank.

The 15-year-old boy was attacked, although is believed to have been left uninjured, by the dog which was tied outside the busy supermarket at around 11.30pm on September 20.

A man, who is described as white, around 5ft 9 ins in height, wearing black jogging trousers and a grey top, tied the dog - which is described as a brown Bull Mastiff type dog - outside the store where it reportedly began lunging at passersby before attacking the youngster.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.
